Q:Will My lamp produce enough heat to melt wax?
Yes, your lamp should produce enough heat to melt all types of waxes, as well as heat the scenting oils, and potpurri liquids enough to scent your desired space.
Q:What does the oil do in my lamp?
As it simmers it releases microscopic scent particles into the air mixing with air around it to make a house, smell like a home.
Q:Can I use any oil or wax in my oil burning lamp?
Oils are made up of different components which have 'FLASH POINTS' these flash points are different for different oils. Some FLASH or flame at 120 degrees others not until they reach upwards of 250 degrees.
We specially mix our oils with a high flash point base so that they are safe to use in all our halogen lamp oil burners. The raw oils have flash points ranging from 101-201 degrees. With our special formulation our oils are safe for the halogen lamps to heat.
Q: Are your oils safe to use as a body perfume?
Most of our scented oils have the potential to be used in bath and body products, potpourri, soaps, lotions and as purfumes as well.
Q: Can I use your Oils straight on my skin?
Although we do not recommend using our oils as a perfume, body oil, or lotion for your skin, Our scented oils come to us for use in candles, bath and body products, including gel candles. If you intend to use them in this fashion please consult the Business owner for use limitaions. Clove oils can and will cause irritaion on the skin and in the eyes, however it has been used for generations as a toothache remedy. |
